I am a digital designer with over 20 years of experience creating engaging content. I have extensive knowledge of all aspects of multimedia including graphic design, motion graphics, and video production. I am also an exceptional troubleshooter and have experience managing design projects, a web server, and staff. Some things I enjoy are reading, tabletop and video games, progressive metal and, currently, I am learning to play guitar.

Digital Signage Content & Network Manager
Design and manage digital signage content which is displayed campus-wide across Johns Hopkins entities. Create static imagery, video, motion graphics, and interactive touch screen content. Perform daily network functions and troubleshooting to keep the system of 250+ locations across the state functioning for institutional visual communications with patients and staff. Manage all aspects of new design projects and facilitate hardware installs with internal and external vendors while keeping track of billing and budgets. Support other miscellaneous digital and print design project requests as needed.
2002 - 2010The University of Maryland, Shock Trauma
Recorded and edited video of trauma and operating room procedures for patient safety research. Played an integral role in converting analog recording system to digital capturing. Created and maintained online training courses for new trauma residents and various websites for our research initiatives. Supported and managed office web and video servers, data, and a video library. Assisted our researchers with video hardware and computer troubleshooting.

Help Desk/Distance Learning Technician/Web and Print Graphics
Supported students and faculty with computer troubleshooting in a help desk environment. Set up, monitored, and recorded video conferences. Managed distance learning classrooms and scheduling. Produced interactive, multimedia, CD ROMs. Supported the school’s website. Produced printed poster designs for research and conferences.

Learned the basics of digital and print design. Learned effective page layouts. Printing press operation and maintenance. The only student in my class to be inducted into the National Vocational Technical Honors Society (NVTHS).
