Facilities Management - 410.706.7570 To arrange for the delivery, set-up, and removal of tables, chairs, easels, blackboards, etc.
Audiovisual – 410.706.3325 – Media Services
You must contact Media services to use any electronic or computer equipment in Chemical Hall. There is a fee for technical support.
Housekeeping - 410.706.7570 – Work Control
You must arrange for additional trash canisters and for trash removal if you will be serving food during your function. Please allow for clean-up time when scheduling for the use of the lecture hall as there may be events following yours.
Campus Police - 410.706.6882 or 711 (Emergencies only)
To have the building unlocked or locked before or after normal operating hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm). You may also arrange for a shuttle or escort for guests, if necessary.
Fire Safety - 410.706.7055 – Environmental Health & Safety

Group size must be limited to 212 individuals (the number of fixed seats in Chemical Hall).

Event coordinators must be familiar with the location of the 3 exits.

Activities that produce smoke (cooking, special effects) are not allowed in the building.

If the fire alarm sounds, all participants must exit the building

All exit corridors must be kept clear of storage, catering equipment, coat racks, registration tables, and any other items that would restrict the passage to the exits.
